The first edition of OPEN's "Technical Code for Corrugated Steel Plate Composite Frame Structures" has officially passed the review by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, becoming the "Shanghai Enterprise Standard."

Throughout February, OPEN organized remote review meetings every day via the Tencent Meeting system, involving colleagues from the Design Department, Engineering Department, and Factory. In addition, several prominent industry experts were invited to participate in discussions.

To enhance the practicality and standardization of the code, OPEN, in collaboration with Jiangnan University, published a draft of the code on the China Engineering Construction Standardization Network for public feedback. A total of 189 comments were received. Colleagues involved in the code review discussed each piece of feedback, which not only made the code more precise and rigorous but also fostered learning and inspiration among all participants, achieving a win-win outcome.

After joint research by OPEN, Jiangnan University, and several other universities, along with conducting hundreds of experiments and analyzing vast amounts of data, the "Jieyue" system has already been piloted in six actual projects.

The release of this code introduces a brand-new structural system to the building structure industry, providing the world with a new structural selection method, which holds significant practical application value.
