The construction industry is a significant contributor to this smog problem, with the production, transportation, and use of materials like steel and cement generating a large amount of dust and smog.

A foreign team has designed and developed a central control barrel structure, known as Cobiax, which is used to reduce the amount of concrete and steel needed while still ensuring structural stability.

Cobiax works by creating a vacuum-like state within the structure, which not only reduces the amount of rebar required but also decreases the volume of concrete needed!
