180 experts and scholars from over eighty universities and research institutes across China gathered in Harbin to participate in the "Innovative Structures Forum and Centennial Celebration of Mr. Zhong Shantong" on May 4th.

Mr. Zhong Shantong (1919-2013) was one of the founders of the International Association for Steel-Concrete Composite Structures (ASCCS) and a renowned scholar in the field of steel and composite structures. He dedicated his life to structural academic research, teaching, and writing.

OPEN Steel contributed to the establishment of the "Zhong Shantong Education Fund" to support teaching and learning in the composite structure industry.

In his speech, Chairman Chen Ming expressed, "As a company, we hope to connect with more academic resources to provide theoretical guidance for our structural innovations, ultimately creating more value for our clients and society."
